FED:Court win won't fix policy problems: opp

Opposition immigration spokesman SCOTT MORRISON says a decision by the High Court about
the government's controversial refugee swap deal with Malaysia won't be a reflection of
the merits of the policy.

The court's full bench is expected to hand down its decision on the lawfulness of the
policy after lunch today.

Mr MORRISON'S told ABC Radio even if the government is successful, it will just be
an acknowledgement that the minister has the power to make this decision and not a reflection
of whether it's a good or a bad policy or if it provides protection to refugees.
