JOHN M. CHILLA, 83.(CAPITAL REGION)

Services will be held today for John M. Chilla, 83, of Glen Avenue, who died Tuesday in his residence after a long illness.

He was born in Schenectady and was a lifelong Capital Region resident.

Mr. Chilla was a licensed electrician and worked for several area electrical contractors.

He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 166.

Mr. Chilla was a communicant of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Schenectady.

He was a lifetime member of the Knights of St. John, Commandry 100; and the Liederkranz Club, both of Schenectady.
